Swedish producer duo TeoFrans was launching their newest collective, Teddy Failure, and wanted an alternative, playful approach to communicate their project. Teddy Failure wasn’t just new pop hits from the already established artists—it was a coming-of-age microcosm that involved stories, film, photography and the TikTok trend ‘main characters’.

I was commissioned to write two texts that positioned Teddy Failure as a contemporary collective and musical project spotlighting the universal transition from youth to adulthood. This identity came alive with their first two releases, Change and Tissues—singles that embodied a storyteller for anyone growing up.
